i'm currently watching the episodes i've downloaded. 2024... late to the party 😅 this is definitely an improvement to the 1995 movie and infinitely better than the 2021 reboot (ugh...). too bad these web series are shorts. i wish they're full episodes. with the recent successes of Halo, The Last of Us, Twisted Metal, and now Fallout, it's safe to say that video game adaptation is better done as a series than a movie. there's more room to tell the story and develop character. my only criticism of this one: they shouldn't have anglicized all the dialogues in S2.

This show had great potential but unfortunately suffered to the Mortal Kombat curse of TV networks etc not appreciating it. Mortal Kombat Conquest had the same thing happen and it was great, it got network backing but abruptly ended due to cancelling.
